Westfield is a straightforward run north for us, crossing Route 22 and coming up through Springfield into Millburn. Around 16 to 22 minutes in normal traffic.
Driving to Studio 260 from Westfield
Start on East Broad Street, County Route 509, and pick up Mountain Avenue east toward Route 22. Head east on Route 22, then north on Mountain Avenue, County Route 635, to Morris Avenue, which is Route 124. Morris Avenue connects to Short Hills Avenue and then Millburn Avenue. It is about 6.4 miles and generally 16 to 22 minutes.
Parking. Free street parking on Millburn Avenue, with municipal lots a block behind us off Essex Street and Main Street.
Getting here without a car
Westfield station is on the Raritan Valley Line, which runs into Newark Penn Station. Millburn is on the Morris and Essex Line out of Newark Broad Street, so a train trip means changing stations in Newark. For most Westfield guests driving is the simpler option.
Where we sit relative to Westfield
Coming from downtown Westfield or near Mindowaskin Park, East Broad Street to Mountain Avenue is the natural start. Guests from the Tamaques Park end of town reach Route 22 a little sooner. Once you are north of the highway the drive settles into ordinary town roads through Springfield and into Millburn's downtown.
