Driving to Studio 260 from Mountainside
Take New Providence Road, County Route 645, out to Route 22 and head east. Come off at Mountain Avenue, County Route 635, and follow it north to Morris Avenue, which is Route 124. Morris Avenue leads to Short Hills Avenue and then Millburn Avenue. It is roughly 5.5 miles and typically 14 to 20 minutes.
Parking. Free street parking on Millburn Avenue, plus municipal lots a block away off Essex Street and Main Street.
Getting here without a car
Mountainside has no NJ Transit rail station of its own, so this is a drive. The Route 22 crossing is the only stretch where time varies much.
Where we sit relative to Mountainside
From the Watchung Reservation and Trailside side of Mountainside, New Providence Road gets you to Route 22 quickly. Guests nearer Echo Lake Park often find Mountain Avenue the more natural pickup. Once you are north of Route 22 the run through Springfield and into Millburn is ordinary town driving.
